Hi guys... For those who don't know me (which will be most of you), I am a fellow musician who basically plays the guitar for my own pleasure... write the accasional song and do the odd recording.
Started in the band scene about 10 odd years ago with The Jack. That was the first time I picked up a bass and kinda took to it like a duck to water. Next came Back2Back. I joined this band as a Bassist and Backing Vocals but the young lady who was going to be the lead singer decided to give it a miss because she was new to it all and felt out of her depth. Much to all our dissappointment as she had a great voice. So thats when Jim the Saxophonist turned to me and said it was now my job. I felt I was out of my depth but in time I built up my confidence and started to totally enjoy it. So this was the start to my lead vacals. The only thing was I was wanting to drop the bass and concentrate on Lead Vocals but alas that wasn't to be with Back2Back. I was then approached by Mark Cockerill to be his lead singer in Zero Damage which I eventually agreed to and what a trip that was. We totally had a blast. Not quite sure how long I was with them but due to me changing jobs and going onto shifts it made it difficult to commit myself to gigging as much as ZD was wanting so I gracefully backed out. Then along came White Lines. Short lived as it was, it was still a great band. Not the best around town but certainly up there. Totally enjoyed every gig we had. I was having a little time to myself and toying with the idea of making and editing band videos... But now that has been put on the backburner as my spare time is now taken up with my very good friend, the bass and soon you will be able to catch my progress with said instrument when you go and see Defined. Anyone interested in watching the video or listening to a couple of songs I wrote and recorded can find them at www.myspace.com/stooey34 Thanks for stopping by... Have nice day Stooey -------------------- An intellectual snob is someone who can listen to the William Tell Overture and not think of The Lone Ranger.
